Thomas Denvil Plumley "Plum" 67, of Tyler Mountain, was surrounded by
his loved ones when he was called home to the Lord on December 26th 2015
at Hubbard Hospice House West after a long battle with cancer.
Tom was a Navy veteran and proudly served his country in the Vietnam
War. He was a charter member of the Cross Lanes Community Watch. He was
a member of Tyler Mountain Volunteer Fire Department and served in many
facets from board member to Lieutenant.
He was proceeded in death by his loving wife, Linda Lee Wallace Plumley
and his parents Denvil Glassco Plumley & Mary Anna Summers Plumley.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Shannon Fisher and husband
Randy of Given, granddaughter, Samantha Wallace of Given, sister,
Virginia Martin and husband David of Cross Lanes, brothers, David Wayne
Plumley and wife Libby of Poca, and Frederick Plumley of Cross Lanes,
and a host of aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Also, his "fur babies" Precious, Daisy Mae & Callie.
Service will be held on December 31st 2015 at 11:00 am at Tyler Mountain
Funeral Home, Cross Lanes, with Pastor Aaron Gooden officiating.
Inurnment will follow at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes in
the West Virginia Mausoleum. There will be a gathering of friends and
family on December 30th 2015 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Arun Nagarajan, and
the staff of CAMC Cancer Center as well as the entire staff of Hubbard
Hospice House West. Special thanks to his nurse at Hospice, Jeanie who
was a true Godsend to him and his family. May God Bless each of you.
