Board Member Nominations and Elections

Nominations will be accepted for board member seats during the meeting held Thursday August 21st, 2025 at 7:00pm in the Community Building. The nominations will be accepted for 2 Fire Department members and 2 Community members. Those nominated must be corporation members. Nominees must be physically present or have a signed proxy stating their acceptance in order to accept said nomination.

Nominations will also be accepted immediately before elections which will be held at the meeting September 18th, 2025 at 7:00pm at the Community Building. Election will be by secret ballot. One (1) active firefighter (which includes company officer), or rapid responder, or ancillary support member and one (1) community member receiving the highest number of votes will serve a two- (2) year term. The remaining receiving the next highest number of votes will serve a one-year term. Votes shall be counted by three persons designated by President, none of whom shall be a candidate in the election. At least one of the vote counters shall be a firefighter, rapid responder, or ancillary support member.
